tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INANIMATE OBJECT?
This is kind of a random, weird question. But, I suppose my answer would have to be…my iPod?
Cell Phone
I hate my cell phone with the burning rage of a billion neutron stars.
That is all.

Job Hunting
I have been in Bakersfield for over two months now. Still jobless. I really didn’t think it would be this difficult finding a job. I should have anticipated it what with Bakersfield being a smaller town than I am accustomed to and with the economy the way it still is. But with my job history, I figured I would be employed by now. My last two jobs I left in very good standing, great references. I have replied to countless Craigslist postings and have thus far only gotten one interview. And that interview went amazingly well, I thought I was a shoe in for the job. Especially when I was told they were looking to hire two people. But, I got a call back saying that they had decided to only hire one person for now and I would hear from them again when they needed to hire again. That was about a month ago and there hasn’t been a single word.
I applied for JC Penney and a local coffee chain, Dagny’s, today. Seemed like JC Penney is currently hiring so I should hopefully get some sort of contact from them. And while there wasn’t any sort of “Now Hiring” posting at Dagny’s, based on the response I got from the barista I turned in my application and resume to, it doesn’t seem unlikely that they are currently looking to hire. Either job I could see myself having an absolute blast with. And with JC Penney I would get a discount, I am in serious need of clothes, I feel like I’m wearing the same clothes all the time. But Dagny’s would be walking distance from where I’m currently living which would be nice.
At this point I really don’t care about pay rate or hours as long as it’s enough to pay my cell phone bill. I had to ask my mother to cover my last cell phone bill and she has already volunteered to pay my upcoming bill as well. And I really hate to have to rely on my mother’s help. She isn’t exactly in the best of shape financially herself though my brother does help support her at the moment. I really hope I get hired very soon. This is just sad stuff.
On a separate and better note, I drove for the first time last night. Colleen and I went to Wal-Mart really late for some small shopping. After we were done she pulled her car into an empty part of the lot. And I drove around for about twenty minutes, mostly just in a large circle. I got control, speeding up, slowing down and stopping down fast enough. The only issue I ran into was making right turns, need to get a handle on making them sharper. After the twenty minutes I was ready to call it a night for my first lesson and was offered to drive us home. And I so didn’t feel ready enough for that. I hope to get some more time behind the wheel soon, it was a lot of fun.
There is a lot of drama right now in other areas of concern. Might need to rant about those if they don’t cool down soon. But I’ll leave it at this for now.
